Giving children the chance to choose

Children in Crossfire are delighted to invite you to our Coffee Morning

A very special coffee morning celebrating Shipquay Hotel’s partnership with Children in Crossfire, which will be held in their restaurant on Friday 1 June between 10:30am and 12noon. Shipquay Hotel is Derry’s newest boutique hotel and is located at 15 – 17 Shipquay Street. We are delighted that they chose to support us as their first ever charity partner.

We will be joined at this event by Fr Wilibald Maningi from Tanzania, who supports Children in Crossfire’s work there and is a member of our Board of Trustees. Fr Maningi will be spending two weeks in Ireland, engaging with schools and churches about the impact of our work in Tanzania. He is a truly inspirational figure, so please do come along to hear more about our work and help us to raise some vital funds. Relatively small amounts go very long ways. For example, £20 buys toys for an entire class, which are vital learning tools for pre-school children. £10 buys a child breakfast at school for 6 months.

We hope to see you on 1st June at the coffee morning please feel welcome to bring guests along with you.
