PROGRAMME MANAGER position (Re-advertising)
To lead our exciting Early Childhood Development (ECD) Programming
Children in Crossfire is an Irish-based international NGO whose purpose is to respond to the rights and needs of young children caught in the crossfire of global poverty and injustice. Children in Crossfire Tanzania focuses on increasing access to quality Early Childhood Development (ECD) supporting children’s developmental needs and giving them a chance to reach their fullest potential.
Children in Crossfire is entering an exciting new strategic phase whereby through a combination of programmes implementation and advocacy and partnerships, we will contribute to thousands more young children in Tanzania being supported to thrive during their crucial early years. We are now re-advertising for a senior management position to take lead of our Early Childhood Development (ECD) Programming:
- Programme Manager – ECD Programming – this is a new senior position reflecting the aspired medium-term growth and direction of Children in Crossfire Tanzania as outlined in our 5-Year results framework for 2017-2021. The position will provide overall management-lead of our direct programming in Early Childhood Development, primarily delivered through local implementing CSO partners and local government. Reporting directly to the Country Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality delivery and continuous learning and development of our early childhood development programming, and its effective integration into local community and local government planning processes to ensure its sustainability.
The position is based in Dar es Salaam with the expectation of travel within the regions.
