Local people are being urged to get costumed up for a high-speed trip across the Foyle as part of the Children in Crossfire Zipline Challenge 2018.

The event, which will offer a unique bird’s eye view over the River Foyle, will be staged locally and takes place on Saturday 8TH September 2018.

Participants will climb 170ft in a crane basket and will be attached to the zip wire to cross the river (1,300ft) from Prehen boathouse to Coshowen on Foyle Road.

Director Richard Moore added: “We are delighted to have the 5th Zipline Challenge. We are hoping to recruit 150 participants. Places are limited and the interest in the challenge is always phenomenally high”.

To take part, contact the Children in Crossfire office on 02871 269898 or e-mail events@childrenincrossfire.org.
