We are excited to invite you to a free accredited CPD training opportunity for youth workers across the island of Ireland.
Vision 2030 is an OCN NI Level 3 certified course that focuses on Local and Global Citizenship as a means to support youth workers and young people on their journey as compassionate active citizens who work towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals as a means to create a more fair and sustainable world for all.
Through taking part in this training, you will:
- Have the option of getting a level 3 OCN qualification yourself
- Learn to deliver an OCN NI Level 2 course to the young people you work with and be given the necessary materials
- Develop the confidence to explore controversial issues with wider audiences
- Learn about local and global justice issues
- Share knowledge and ideas with others
- Learn the skills and knowledge needed to develop and carry out a social action project with wider audiences
- Access funding to deliver to your social action project
- Be provided with a full Training Plan and set of facilitator guidelines
- Refreshments and lunch are provided during the 2 day programme
